I love, love, love an autumn wedding. All those bold, bright colors! Read and John’s wedding and their beautiful reception at The Greenspring Valley Hunt Club last September gave us a chance to pack a big punch of color with mango calla lily, yellow ranunculus, golden sunflowers, hypericum berry, peach dahlias, celosia, crespedia, yarrow, and gorgeous Free Spirit roses. They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day–perfect for spending a few minutes on the golf course before heading into the reception.
Centerpieces were enhanced with a few pieces of variegated kale and some touches of millet.
I see a lot of beautiful wedding gowns, but Read’s was especially stunning. I just had to include a picture of the back of this gown.
And who can resist a beaming bride photo!
More photos from Maria Vicencio Photography! Once again, Maria photographed another beautiful wedding. Lauren and Brad were married last May at the Geo. W. Peabody Library in Mount Vernon. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a bigger, more beautiful smile on a bride! Lauren was truly radiant.
The bouquet , a beautiful composition of whites and creams with just the softest peek-a-boo of blue, was comprised of David Austin garden roses in the palest blush shades, white peony, cream calla, blue muscari and touches of velvety dusty miller.
Bouts were single calla wrapped with a sprig of blue muscari.
See what I mean about that smile?
Sweet pew clusters lined the aisle.
And the library was magical…
and great shoes…
It’s all in the details, and what could be a more lovely detail than bright white anemone with that adorable blue-black polka-dot center? Lindsay’s January wedding was simply beautiful and we couldn’t have been happier with these beautiful bouquets and centerpieces.
Dusty Miller is the perfect foliage accent to a mix of Cool Water Roses, Ranunculus, and those stunning local Anemones. And they were just perfect with the maids’ beautiful dresses.
We lightened the color palette just a bit for the centerpieces and added romantic gold mercury glass votives to the table–perfect touch for a winter wedding!
